Starry-Eyed Travels

Starry-Eyed Travels aims to put a sense of wonder back into travel. Travel should be magical and exciting, full of those ‘I can’t believe it’ moments. This site should give you everything you need to make your own travels Starry-Eyed and to savour the experiences of others.

Starry-Eyed Tales provides stories from across the globe, with an emphasis on the little moments that you remember forever. Whether it’s a walk around an eye-opening city, a glass of wine on a windowsill or the perfect sunset, here we aim to capture the essence of travel. I love to hear stories as much as I enjoy telling them, so in Travellers’ Tales, you’ll find a whole host of guest posts which showcase the Starry-Eyed spirit.

Starry-Eyed Guides is your one-stop shop for Travel Tips and Practical Information, because if you want to have a truly wonderful travel experience, you don’t want to be searching for hours for information on hotels in a small Bolivian town or what vaccinations you need to stop your trip ending in a disease-ridden disaster. It’s not a comprehensive source, but if we know about it, you’ll find it here. (This section is currently under development, so there will be lots of new content soon. If you have any practical travel tips to suggest, please get in touch!)

Starry-Eyed Snapshots is the photography section, designed to inspire your travels. Enjoy a perusal through the Photo Posts or take a look the Starry-Eyed Gallery for a visual overview of the latest features. Photo of the Week, an interactive weekly challenge, will soon be launching. Keep your eye out for weekly themes, then submit your best photo!

News, Views and Reviews contains opinion on world news and global interest items, discussions of specific destinations and reviews of music, film and art related to travel. We promote responsible tourism and cultural awareness and encourage you to share your views too.

Enjoy the site and make it yours by commenting, submitting or getting in contact.
